The Times has today launched an iPad App to accompany a special edition of its monthly science magazine Eureka.

The one-off app went live in the iTunes App Store this afternoon , offering a 300 page interactive version of this month's special Science of Sport edition for 59p. The magazine itself will be published and available free with the Times newspaper tomorrow.

In a release the Times said the Eureka iPad App is "the latest in a series of iPad innovations from The Times".

The app was developed by Times staff in-house and in conjunction with digital services company TigerSpike, the release adds.
