Trinity Mirror Regionals (TMR) is restructuring its digital management team, splitting the existing digital director role into two new posts.
The role of regionals digital director is now redundant and current incumbent Chris Bunyan is in consultation with the publisher, TMR said in a statement. Bunyan, who joined TMR in 2008 from Virgin Media , was behind the launch of Trinity's business directory site LocalMole.co.uk.
The two new positions created by the changes are digital commercial director and LocalMole General Manager, both of which will report to David Black, group director of digital publishing.
