The American Audit Bureau of Circulations has announced a new standalone audit report which will provide statistical and visual audience data for mobile publishers to use.

According to a post on the ABC Interactive newsletter website , the new m.Audit Report will provide member publishers which have content available via mobile devices with a report of their statistics such as unique visitors, page views, app downloads, audience access points and device types.

In a paragraph-by-paragraph guide to the audit Neal Lulofs, senior vice president of communications and strategic planning, said publishers can then use the report to demonstrate the reach of their product to advertisers.

"This is just an example of the variety of mobile usage statistics publishers can feature on an m.Audit Report," he added. "As with all ABCi reports, the audit period, contents, graphs and tables can be tailored to fit your needs."
