TikTok has come a long way from its dance video origins. It's where all sorts of content creators can provide a window into their lives and generate a strong following of fans.

Journalists have followed the trend, many posting all your typical social videos, like your POVs (point of view), GRWMs (get ready with me) and OOTDs (outfit of the day). These help to build up their profiles and show their personalities.

Others, in a term we've come to recognise as 'news creators', use this space as a way to demystify the news; what's behind the headlines, how the news is made inside their studios and newsrooms, and how they make those fancy social media thumbnails.

Fancy joining the tribe? I've trawled through my FYP to pull out 30 journalists who are using the platform in fun and inspired ways. I've also tried to identify the topics they talk about and the types of videos they post.

I'm not talking about the Sophia Smith Galers and Max Fosters of this world, here. We know and love their content by now. I'm looking for lesser-known names who deserve more spotlight.
