Journalism.co.uk has announced its latest digital journalism event news:rewired - media in motion, which will take place on 3 February 2012 at MSN UK's headquarters in London Victoria.

The event, which is the sixth in a series of sell-out conferences run by Journalism.co.uk, will look at

the latest tools, strategies and approaches in online journalism and the use of digital technologies for innovative news production, with a focus on social and mobile developments. It is aimed at journalists, editors, media executives and communications professionals who are keen to harness digital technologies in the production of better journalism. Topics covered at the one-day conference will include: making the most of online video; innovative approaches to mobile reporting; social media optimisation;

using gaming mechanics to enhance news coverage;

and building coherent multi-platform strategies. There will also be workshops on SEO, online networking and data journalism. The event will close with a panel debate on standards in social media in the wake of varying guidelines across the industry.
