Videojournalism prize the Concentra Award has opened its 2010 competition.
The €10,000 award was first awarded in 2005 to recognise excellence in videojournalism from broadcast TV, news websites, newspaper sites and IPTV news stations.
The 2010 prize will be handed out on 30 March next year. Deadline for entries is 22 January 2010. Last year's prize went to Washington Post journalist Alexandra Garcia for her film 'The Healing Fields' .
Entrants can submit up to three news items for the award. Each piece must have been broadcast or published in 2009. Full entry criteria are available at this link .
The award winners will now be announced on 6 May.
