GQ has named law student Noah Strang as the winner of its competition to discover new writing talent.

Strang, who is currently studying law at Bristol University, has been named as the 'fashion blogger of the future' by the title, which launched the competition in January .

As the winner, Strang will begin an internship on GQ.com from mid-March and become a regular contributor to the site's fashion blog.

"As this new generation of style aficinados finds its voice, taking our role as the fashion authority seriously we knew it was important for us to be promoting new talent in this arena. The large number of entries we received demonstrates there’s a significant level of opinionated would-be fashion bloggers whose work deserves to be read by a wider audience," says Dylan Jones, editor of GQ, in a release.

Journalism student Omar Mussa, who is studying at the University of Winchester, was named in second place and also gained a work placement as part of the competition.
