Publishing industry group Ifra has announced the key speakers for its Beyond the Printed Word 2008 conference.

The conference for media executives, which will focus on digital services as a method for future growth in revenue, will be headlined by Jennifer Carroll, vice president of new media content for Gannett Digital, and Theo Blanco, senior sales and marketing director for Swedish newspaper Upsala Nya Tidning.

Sessions at the conference, which will take place in Budapest from November 20-21, will include case studies from online media organisations, and discussions on mobile media and new technologies.

A pre-conference workshop will take place on November 19 looking at the move from print to multimedia advertising.
