Many journalists have great ideas about improving their publications but struggle to make them happen. For smaller newsrooms where everyone does a little bit of everything, having the right tools to create new products can mean the difference between being profitable and folding in.
The News Product Alliance (NPA), a community of support for those who think about new products in news organisations, has created a library of more than 300 open learning resources for media professionals. Supported by the Google News Initiative (GNI), the NPA Resource Library wants to "assist in the development of talent in product management in media, contributing to the overall sustainability of the journalism industry around the world."

Webinars, e-books and online articles were sourced by NPA’s Slack community and curated by journalists from all over the world. Topics span audience engagement; diversity and inclusion; leadership and people management; business models and monetisation; product design; and tech.
