Photographers for pro-am agency Demotix will now have their work distributed to News Corporation's media outlets as part of a new deal.

Photographs and stories submitted to Demotix, which gives contributors 50 per cent of any sales fees, will be shared to all News Corp's editorial properties via its internal wire service NewsCore .

News Corp will be looking for submissions that are accurate, offer new angles and powerful narratives, as well as the timeliness of news-related submissions.

Demotix users will be paid per use of their images or stories by News Corp. Last week Demotix announced a partnership with blog network Global Voices to share its images with site and add Global Voices' blog posts to Demotix's news feed.
