Prior to the BBC, Ms Jackson worked at AOL Europe as a deputy editor responsible for a number of site areas including women, families and work.

Ms Jackson, commenting on her appointment, said: "I'm delighted to be joining the Woman & Home team as web editor at this exciting time for digital media. I look forward to developing and enhancing the brand online and building strong links with the Woman & Home community."
