Mail Online has again recorded the highest average of daily and monthly unique browsers in March 2010, according to the latest figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulations Electronic (ABCe).

As in the February report, Guardian was second, with Telegraph.co.uk closely behind. In this month's report, no data is reported for Times Online and TheSun.co.uk. News International is currently preparing to launch new paywalled content. paidContent:UK reports ABCe is still auditing the sites' traffic, but is keeping the data private, at NI's request.

The titles saw little shift for daily unique browsers; with the Mail Online recording 2,246,746 (-0.83 per cent month on month); the Guardian 1,852,293 (-0.92 per cent month on month) and 1,557,118 (+0.59 per cent month on month).

All four audited titles and the Mirror Group saw month on month rises for their monthly unique browsers, however, with the Mail showing a record 39,170,732, up 8.20 per cent.

The full figures for the four audited titles and Mirror Group's websites are listed below. The percentage in brackets indicates the month-on-month change compared with the February ABCe report :

1. Mail Online

Average daily unique browsers: 2,246,746 (-0.83 per cent)

Monthly unique browsers: 39,170,732 (+8.20 per cent)

2. Guardian.co.uk

Average daily unique browsers: 1,852,293 (-0.92 per cent)

Monthly unique browsers: 33,371,947 (+7.75 per cent)

3. Telegraph.co.uk

Average daily unique browsers: 1,557,118 (+0.59 per cent)

Monthly unique browsers: 30,258,382 (+8.54 per cent)

4. Mirror Group

Average daily unique browsers: 467,711 (-0.37 per cent)

Monthly unique browsers: 10,062,032 (9.57 per cent)

5. Independent.co.uk

Average daily unique browsers: 445,588 (-4.25 per cent)

Monthly unique browsers: 9,992,367 (+4.69 per cent)
