Ben Reardon has been appointed editor of GQ Style.

Reardon is currently editor of i-D magazine, and will take up his new role at the beginning of September.

Reardon said: "After five tremendously enjoyable years at the helm of i-D, I’m very much looking forward to the challenges inherent in further developing GQ Style. Channelling my energies into men’s fashion from the street to the catwalk is a natural next step for me, ensuring GQ Style is the magazine men will be afraid to dress without."

GQ Style launched in 2005 from the offices of GQ, the UK’s biggest selling quality men’s magazine.
