The news explainer has become a popular news format to help audiences understand tricky topics and subjects. There are few better in the business than BBC News presenter Ros Atkins.
This is the first of two episodes where we talk about Atkins' new book "The Art of Explanation" and how journalists can become skilled communicators in a variety of scenarios.
In this week's episode, he shares the two explainer frameworks he has developed during his career to help in situations within our control - such as presenting the news - and those moments where we need to think on our feet, like job interviews.
Well, no going back. The Art of Explanation is out! Every day, we all have moments - big and small - where how well we communicate really matters. This book is about how we can take on those moments. Fingers crossed, you'll like it. Available here: https://t.co/IQ3bElmslW pic.twitter.com/QIE6tFWeia
