If anyone is qualified to dish out podcasting advice it's NPR, makers of the weekly series This American Life and the wildly successful Serial.
In a recent blog on NPR's Social Media Desk, product intern Daniel Peterschmidt shared some of the tips and techniques behind the outlet's strategy for engaging podcast audiences.
These include ensuring the "voice of the show" is in keeping with the tone of its presence on social media sites, and encouraging podcast hosts or producers to respond personally to questions and conversations online.
