There are a lot of tips for more efficient interviewing out there, but maybe you can add some to your repertoire from Pulitzer price winning journalist Jacqui Banaszynski who became famous for her extensive interviewing skills.

Poynter's Lauren Klinger has collected the seven most important recommendations from a conversation between reporter Butch Ward and Banaszynski, creating a list to help you improve the questions you ask during interviews.

The tips include using your notebook as a shared tool, letting the interviewee know about your sensitive questions before starting the conversation, and asking
"storytelling questions".
