The Roma Press Agency (RPA) claims that the journalists could not find any Slovak Roma (referred to as Gypsies by the Mail) that were planning to leave for Britain, so paid for the flights for several unemployed Roma men.
"They kept phoning their head office until they finally agreed with their bosses that should they find no one, they would simply pay for the plane tickets of some interested people," the story states.
