Starting in September the programme will cover all aspects of the traditional role of the sub-editor in a print environment, while also explaining how those skills are adapted online.
The one-day course will form a single module on the 20-day programme of the PA diploma in sub-editing for trainees and be based at its new training centre in London.
Peter Sands, director of PA Training, said: "This is a great way for new subs to gain a recognised qualification as well as develop skills and knowledge to enable them to work in a modern publishing company."
