South African news site Isolezwe is claiming to be the world's first major Zulu-language web publication.

The print newspaper was launched in April 2002 and recently launched its sister web publication. The site provides paid-for regional news for urban professionals and students in South Africa and is offering a one-month free trial to new subscribers.
