Video journalism takes a different set of skills than your regular print hacks, just as digital journalism can differ from data journalism. They are all equally worthy though, and all based on the same foundation of clarity, accuracy and truth.
Video journalist Pete Pattisson won a Webby award for his work highlighting the mistreatment of migrant workers in Qatar and recently shared ten tips "to succeed (or survive)" as a freelance. They are naturally tailored to his experience and specialism, but many are just as valid for all fields of journalism.
