Christie will be writing articles for the monthly magazine and online content for the website.
She has had a broad range of journalistic experience as an intern at various places including Times2, Manchester Evening News, The South London Press, Southwark News, BBC Radio Africa, Docklands Paper and Ipswich Evening Star.
For anyone wanting to become a reporter, Christie advises: "Get to know other journalists and contact them if they offer help. Do the NCTJ Pre-Entry to Newspaper Journalism course; I recommend Lambeth College in South London. During work experience keep your address book and cuttings file up-to-date. Being polite and helpful is always good."
