Due to significant expansion, Insider Media, the UK’s leading regional business media company, has created a new role to further build on its market-leading property coverage.
Reporting to the editorial director, the UK property editor will:
- Research, edit and present sector-specific content in multimedia formats covering the property sector including digital, print, audio and video output.
- Become and be seen as the editorial expert with regard to this sector, as well as have a well-rounded view of business issues and how they impact the property industry.
- Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to ensure that Insider's property coverage is of the highest quality.
- Represent Insider at events in the UK and overseas, when required.
About you:
- An experienced journalist, with a strong interest in business news. A qualification such as an NCTJ diploma would be preferable but is not essential.
- An engaging writer and presenter who can quickly get to the heart of and understand complex business subjects.
- An established network and contacts book which includes property agents, developers, public sector and regeneration specialists, and other prominent figures in the commercial and residential property sectors.
