Future Plus, the customer-publishing agency of Future Publishing, has appointed a new editorial team to provide content for BT Vision.

The new service by BT combines access to digital-terrestrial channels via an aerial with broadband-powered video. The Future Plus team will provide news, entertainment reviews and support for the various interactive services such as reader-generated content and community forums.

Jackie Finlay, former entertainment editor of BBC News Interactive, has been appointed editor-in-chief and will head the team.

Commenting on her appointment, Ms Finlay said: "I am really pleased to be working with a great team on such an exciting project.

"Our entertainment website will be packed full of great features, exclusive interviews, reviews and interactivity that will be a superb daily resource and playground for BT Vision customers."

Future has appointed its former editor of gamesradar website, Oliver Hurley, as music editor and SFX’s Steve O'Brien as TV editor.

Other members of the team include former deputy editor from the Bristol Evening Post, Rosee Woodland, who joins as movie editor and Joanne McGhee from The Sun, who joins as picture editor.

Head of customer marketing at BT Vision, Matt Woods added: "Future truly understands the value of engaging with customers and building relationships with them.

"We're very pleased to be working so closely with their exceptionally talented team. The breadth of experience that they bring to BT Vision reflects the diversity of content that we will be offering our customers."

The partnership between BT and Future Plus was announced in September when the publisher signed a two-year deal to supply content for the corporation and is due to launch later in the year.
