Collacott will be responsible for editorial scheduling for Business Traveller and feature writing across both titles.
Previously employed by ITP Publishing's CEO Middle East Magazine as an assistant editor, Collacott began her career working in contract publishing in the UK before moving to Dubai to pursue a full-time role.
"The biggest challenge will be getting Middle Eastern countries to talk to the press," she told Journalism.co.uk.
As a newly appointed deputy editor Collacott also had some advice for anyone hoping to achieve the same position: "Be tenacious and learn to ask for constructive criticism."
