He moves from Investment Adviser, also part of FT Business, where he was a reporter.
Previously, he worked for The Insurance Insider and before that, Niche Personal Loans.
Commenting on his career so far, he said: "I've done a lot of work experience, as you can probably imagine. I've also been writing articles for the Financial Times over the last year. I've completed two NCTJs at Harlow College in magazine and newspaper journalism.
"My advice to anyone starting out in journalism would be to look at the range of opportunities available - there is more than one route into your dream job. Put in the hours, make the contacts and persevere, it will pay off in the long run and you will be respected for it by readers and peers."
