O'Hare joins from Simply Media TV Productions where she was formerly a producer/director. She will now produce short form content across UKTV's portfolio of websites, with a particular focus on Dave, UKTV Food and UKTV Homes, she told Journalism.co.uk.
Commenting on the growing demand for online video professionals, O'Hare added: "I don't know many people who can write, shoot, produce and edit all at once but these days that’s exactly what employers are looking for. These skills are standard now but good storytelling skills are fundamentally what attracts audiences."
