The videos will feature non-business news in an attempt to broaden the information available to users on the site.
The content supplied by Reuters will be in addition to FT.com's in-house production of video, which delivers around 100 videos a month.
The new deal extends the long-standing partnership between the two news groups, under which Reuters provides photos, world news, business news and data to FT.com.
"The recent enhanced data deal with FT.com and now, the provision of insightful, up-to-the-minute video news, demonstrates both Reuters and FT.com's commitment to providing the most powerful readership with the most powerful information in the market," said Gary Williams, head of media sales at Reuters, in a press statement.
In the same statement Ian Cheng, publishing and managing editor of FT.com, said the video partnership with Reuters will support the expansion of the site's own video production in 2008.
