AOP's 'Context is king for the online elite' project was conducted between March and June 2004, and explored the relationships between web users, advertisers and content sites. Publishers including the Guardian, Telegraph, Haymarket and Emap all took part in the research.
AOP has been shortlisted alongside Wanadoo, Mindshare, OMD, MPG and Mediaedge:CIA UK for the award.
The Media Week awards celebrate the best of commercial media, covering advertising campaigns, research and media brand building. Other awards include best use of media, best use of communications technology and media brand of the year.
Winners will be announced at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on 27 October.
