Tracy Corrigan appointed editor of FT's Lex columnFormer FT.com editor Tracy Corrigan has been appointed editor of the Financial Times' (FT) Lex Column.

She joined the FT in 1990 as a reporter on international capital markets and has since worked as news editor and deputy editor of the Lex column.

Lionel Barber, editor of the FT said: "Tracy Corrigan is one of our most talented financial reporters, and her strong and broad corporate reporting experience makes her the ideal candidate to lead Lex - one of our most celebrated and respected columns."

Ms Corrigan was awarded consumer editor of the year by the Association of Online Publishers in 2004.
