The founder and editor-in-chief of Monocle magazine is rejoining the publication to revive his Fast Lane column, which will reappear from the end of April.
Brûlé, who also founded Wallpaper magazine, moves to the FT from the International Herald Tribune, where he wrote a weekly column.
"It is with great pleasure that I have agreed to return to the Financial Times. I always enjoyed writing my column and I hope that I can continue to provide the readers with a valuable insight into the world of design and travel," said Brûlé on his appointment.
