Business reporter

Newsquest Media Group seeks a business reporter to cover our busy Norfolk news patch.

The role will see the successful candidate covering a wide range of issues and events that affect business owners and workers in the region.

As a business reporter, you will be expected to build strong contacts within the commercial community.

You will be based at our newsroom in Norwich, but you will be expected to go out and find interesting business stories and talk to local figures about the subjects that matter to them. You may also be asked to represent the company at key business events.

To be considered, you should have experience in a similar role, either at trainee or reporter level, and hold an NCTJ diploma to gold standard, ideally including 100 words per minute shorthand.

Some travel will be required so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
