The Radio Production Awards 2010

Details: The aim of these awards is to recognise and celebrate the work of UK-based radio and audio producers.
The awards will be open to all UK-based radio and audio producers including independents, freelancers and programme-makers working in BBC, commercial, community, student and hospital radio. Entries will also be welcomed from audio producers working primarily in the digital sector on output for commercial or not-for-profit audio streams and podcasts. The judges will be looking for flair, innovation and creativity. The award ceremonity will be held in February 2010
Categories include: Best music entertainment producer, best online producer and live music producers of the year.

Details: This award concerns the shift towards new media and online technologies. There will be a judging panel reflecting all the corners of the media industry. The winners will be announced in March 2010 at a presentation ceremony in central London.

Details: The intent of the Peabody Awards is to recognize the most outstanding achievements in electronic media, including radio, television and cable. The competition is also open to entries produced for alternative means of electronic distribution, including corporate video, educational media, home-video release, World Wide Web and CD–ROM. Programs produced and intended for wide theatrical motion picture release are not eligible for a Peabody Award.
The winners will be announced March 31 2010 and the awards presented May 17 2010.
