Guardian Student Media Awards 2008
Deadline: 04/07/08Details: These Guardian sponsored awards recognise outstanding contributions to student journalism in a wide range of categories. Amongst the category winners one overall winner will be chosen for the top prize.

Sanlam SA Fashion Journalism Awards.
Deadline: 14/07/08Details: Back for its second annual awards, Sanlam will once again look to challenge and recognise South African fashion journalists.

Prize: The Prize will be R25,000. The money will be applied to a trip for each winner to attend an international fashion week or trade fair for the winter in 2009/2010 season. The prize money must be utilised to cover the flight, accommodation and daily expenses of this trip.
