Mr Savery joins Flybe Uncovered from Brookland Group's A Place in the Sun magazine, where he worked as a staff writer since 2005.
Prior to this, Mr Savery worked as a trainee journalist for the Argus in Brighton and the Big Issue in London.
Mr Savery gained an NCTJ Magazine Journalism qualification from City College, Brighton and Hove, in 2004.
