Lycett will cover local stories and daily reports for the regional online TV station for Bournemouth and Poole.
She will work with issTV founder, Stephanie Penrose, to develop and expand the business to incorporate new technology and genres, a press release said.
"I'm really excited to be working for issTV. I want to cover stories that are important to the people of Bournemouth and Poole because it's an area that's often neglected by larger television stations," said Lycett.
"Internet TV is the future of broadcasting and to be part of it in such a beautiful part of the country is fantastic."
