Mablin most recently held the position of editorial executive at Black Card Magazine, where she managed the website and helped launch the magazine.
Her career history to date includes freelance work at Conde Next Traveller, the Jewish Chronicle, Regenerate. Sainsburys, Woman's Own and That's Life! magazines. She was travel editor of her student paper at Manchester university, and then left to become commercial features writer at the Watford Observer.
