"Online Newspapers and Multimedia Newsrooms" is aimed at newspaper publishers and editors, rather than editorial systems managers, technical directors or webmasters. It is published on the web as a PDF.
Juan Antonio Giner, Director of Innovacion - the company that produces the paper in partnership with WAN - said: "We do not cover breaking news, but long-term, worldwide trends for executives who need to find the facts behind the facts."
The four-page newsletter is made up of brief items on e-newspaper developments, including editorial commentary from Innovacion.
WAN has given Innocation full editorial freedom and is supporting the initiative with funds from its READY project.
