HBA has a network of around 300 radio stations in hospitals around the country. The association estimates that about 18 million people listen to hospital radio each year.
"This will enable the presenters of hospital radio across the UK to give up-to-date celebrity lifestyle news for the benefit of the patients and staff of the hospitals they serve," said a spokesperson for HBA.
