Mrpaparazzi.co.uk, the Big Pictures photo agency website that allows members of the public the opportunity to make money from snaps of celebrities, has been voted entertainment find of the year 2006 by Yahoo!The site narrowly missed out on the UK people's choice award, which was today bestowed on Cowforce.com, an educational website aimed at children.
Earlier this month the Yahoo! judges named Cowforce winner in the charity find category.
Judges said that Mrpaparazzi gained its award because of ‘the loud and bright homepage that reflects the whole ethos of the site’ perhaps reflecting the style of Big Pictures larger-than-life owner, paparazzi-guru, Darryn Lyons.
The site allows citizen journalists to submit video, photographs and stories that are then sold on to the international press on their behalf by the agency.
