Major players in UK broadcasting will be gathering for the annual Oxford Media Convention next week.

Speakers, including BBC chairman Michael Grade and Channel 4 chief executive Andy Duncan, will tackle the challenges of BBC charter renewal, digital switchover and the potential of new delivery platforms.

The convention is being hosted by Oxford University on 20 January, with the keynote speech delivered by the Rt Hon Tessa Jowell MP, secretary of state for culture, media and sport.
