SonyEricsson customers can sign up for the service for €5 or $5 for a 30-day package. A free one-day trial is also available. Breaking news from FT.com will be sent directly to their phone at their chosen time.
"FT.com's extensive reach is expanded once again by this deal. Our award-winning news, comment and analysis can now be accessed by SonyEricsson customers whenever they choose," said Steven Trew, head of FT Mobile.
The service will be launched on 22 September and will be available worldwide from the SonyEricsson website.
